A pleiotropic cytokine involved in INFLAMMATION and immunoregulation. Thymic stromal lymphopoietin can activate MAST CELLS; DENDRITIC CELLS; and T-LYMPHOCYTES, and is produced by various cell types, including epithelial and dendritic cells..
