Abstract | BACKGROUND: Leuconostoc spp. are vancomycin resistant Gram positive lactobacilli. Little is known about their significance in transplant recipients. CASE REPORT: CONCLUSIONS: Leuconostoc spp. should be considered pathogens in transplant recipients who are exposed to vancomycin.
