Preclinical evaluation of acid products for treatment of solid experimental skin tumors in mice.

The effect of nitric acid preparations on five different solid experimental tumors in mice was studied. None of these highly malignant tumors was eradicated by any of the acid preparations studied, although differences in reactivity were noted between preparations in some models.
