Amitraz--(TAKTIC) for the control of pig mange.

Abstract
The efficiency of amitraz (TAKTIC) on pig mange was evaluated. Controlled trials as well as a field trial document the high acaricidal activity of the product. Spraying or washing with amitraz in a 0.1 per cent water emulsion twice with 1--2 weeks' interval effectively cure scabietic piglets and strongly reduce scabietic lesions and scratchings in sows with chronical mange. duct.
