Abstract | PURPOSE: METHODS: A case report and new surgical approach description. RESULTS: CONCLUSIONS: Lamellar wedge resection could represent an alternative surgical approach for keratoconic patients, with eccentric acute hydrops and subsequent corneal perforation that provides rapid visual rehabilitation.
