07/01/2007 - "The Grueneberg ganglion (GG) in the vestibule of the anterior nasal cavity is considered as an olfactory subcompartment based on expression of the olfactory marker protein (OMP) and axonal projection to the olfactory bulb. "
07/01/2006 - "A specific chemosensory function of the most recently discovered subsystem, the so-called Grueneberg ganglion, is based on the expression of olfactory marker protein and the axonal projections to defined glomeruli within the olfactory bulb. "
11/28/2005 - "Its expression of olfactory marker protein, combined with its direct wiring to the olfactory bulb, strongly suggest that the Grueneberg ganglion is a component of the olfactory pathway."
01/01/2014 - "With the exception of Grüneberg's ganglion, all the tissues expressing olfactory marker protein (OMP) (the above four nasal territories, the vomeronasal and main olfactory nerves, and the main and accessory olfactory bulbs) are also labeled by Lycopersicum esculentum agglutinin, while Ulex europaeus agglutinin I labels all and only tissues expressing Gαi2 (the apical sensory neurons of the vomeronasal organ, their axons, and their glomerular destinations in the anterior accessory olfactory bulb). "
01/01/2010 - "Although cells of the Grueneberg ganglion lack direct contact with the lumen of the nasal cavity, they are endowed with features indicative of olfactory sensory neurons, such as the olfactory marker protein and distinct olfactory receptors, as well as projection of axonal processes to the olfactory bulb of the brain.
