Abstract | BACKGROUND/AIMS: METHODOLOGY: Fifty-two patients with acute pancreatitis and organ dysfunction were enrolled. The treatment group included 26 patients receiving intravenous gabexate mesilate infusion at a dose of 100 mg/hr for 7 days.
