[Efficacy and safety of timoptic depot in hypotensive therapy of glaucoma].

Abstract
The efficacy of timoptic depot is assessed in 20 patients with open-angle glaucoma, previously treated with 0.25 and 0.5% timolol. Instillations of 0.25 and 0.5% timoptic depot for 4 weeks did not appreciably change the intraocular pressure, no local or general side effects were noted. Hence, timoptic depot is a more convenient drug for glaucoma patients, remaining effective even after long use.
