Abstract |
Effect of progestagen- norsteroids on the cells of endometrial carcinoma was studied. It was established that as an effect of treatment with large doses of progestagen (100 mg/day) in about 4--6 weeks carcinoma cells show a peculiar increased secretory activity. It seems likely, that this secretory activity proceeds on the account of the growth-potencial of tumour cells. Thus, as a result the growth of the tumour ceases, or in optimal cases stops.
