Abstract | BACKGROUND: CASE PRESENTATION: CONCLUSION: Complete evaluation of the medical history and biochemical and radiographic findings is necessary to achieve a correct diagnosis and avoid unnecessary bone resections in patients with primary hyperparathyroidism.
