[Eosinophilic esophagitis in adults: current approaches to diet therapy].

Abstract
The review describes the basic strategy of eosinophilic esophagitis diet therapy in adult patients: elemental diet, allergy testing-directed food elimination diet and empirical elimination diet. The review includes information about the effects of different methods of diet therapy on the severity of eosinophilic infiltration of the esophageal mucosa and symptoms of eosinophilic esophagitis.
