Abstract | BACKGROUND: CASE PRESENTATION: CONCLUSIONS: This case suggests that thiamazole-induced hepatotoxicity in the setting of advanced fibrosis increases the risk of poor outcome. Regular liver function monitoring during thiamazole therapy is therefore important.
