Abstract | BACKGROUND:
Postoperative nausea and vomiting ( PONV) are among the most common complications in operative medicine. Especially patients undergoing middle ear surgery or stapedectomy are frequently suffering from PONV. On the other hand vertigo might be a symptom of an operative complication.
