03/24/1986 - "Using the highly sensitive dental pain model, flurbiprofen appears to be an effective, peripherally acting analgesic with a rapid onset of activity. "
03/01/2002 - "The efficacy of flurbiprofen 8.75 mg lozenge over placebo was confirmed: there was a significant difference in pain relief obtained from flurbiprofen 8.75 mg versus placebo, along with a significant reduction of difficulty in swallowing from the time of first assessment and significantly greater reductions in throat soreness and difficulty in swallowing throughout the study period. "
04/10/2014 - "Flurbiprofen in 15 mg/kg and 40 mg/kg doses significantly improved pain tolerance measured by tail flick test (tail flick in FBP15 and FBP40 groups: 96.hour vs 97.hour, 7.01±4.97 vs 8.34±3.61 and 5.06±1.57 vs 7.04±2.49, p<0.05 for both). "
02/01/2013 - "A significant reduction in pain intensity was found in both groups; the average visual analog scale (VAS) score was reduced from 7.8 to 3.0 in the control group and from 7.9 to 2.2 in the flurbiprofen group (P<0.01). "
01/01/1994 - "On day 7, spontaneous pain (the prime efficacy parameter), as evaluated by the patient on a visual analogue scale in the physician's office, showed significant improvement in the 40 mg flurbiprofen patch group compared to control (change from baseline) (p = 0.039), a result corroborated by the evaluation of the periarticular oedema: a reduction of 77.4% was observed in the 40 mg flurbiprofen patch group, compared with 63.8% in the control group (p = 0.025).
