01/01/2015 - "The break-up of the Mg2Ca phase into fine and isolated particles and their uniform dispersion in the matrix greatly decreased the susceptibility of individual microgalvanic corrosion between the matrix and Mg2Ca phase and the post-deformation annealing decreased the dislocation density while forming small grains due to the presence of the finely dispersed Mg2Ca particles that reduced the grain sizes by inhibiting grain boundary motion in recrystallization, resulting in a significant improvement in the corrosion resistance of Mg-Ca alloys in Hank's solution. "
05/01/2013 - "Although the SMAT-induced grain refinement and dislocations both have positive effects on the corrosion behavior of the studied alloy, our post annealing experimental results indicate that the improved corrosion resistance is mainly due to the grain refinement."
01/01/2015 - "In this study, the recovery of strain-hardening rate (RSHR) was discovered for the first time in polycrystalline materials (Ni-Si alloys) that have only dislocation activities during tensile test. "
03/07/2012 - "To develop a model system containing regularly spaced misfit dislocations for studies of the radiation resistance of nanoscale defects, epitaxial thin films of Cr, Mo, and Cr(x)Mo(1-x) alloys were deposited on MgO(001) by molecular beam epitaxy. "
06/01/2003 - "A body-centered cubic (bcc) phase, previously unreported in our TEM studies and containing a high density of dislocations, was identified in the Pd-Cu-Ga alloy, while fine-scale, stress-induced precipitates were found in some regions of the fcc matrix in the Pd-Ga alloy.Significance"
