01/01/1994 - "Clearance of ACNU from the CSF space and brain was relatively fast and the half time of ACNU concentration at the cortical or ventricular surface was 10 min. In rats with leptomeningeal tumor induced by intracisternal inoculation of Walker 256 carcinosarcoma cells, the distribution pattern of ACNU after intracisternal administration was essentially the same as in normal rats until the tumor had grown in the subarachnoid space to form more than 10 or 20 layers of tumor cells. "
03/01/1987 - "In the previous reports, we demonstrated that intracisternal ACNU is effective in prolonging the survival time of rats with meningeal carcinomatosis induced by intracisternal inoculation of Walker 256 carcinosarcoma cells, and systemic and local toxicity can be avoided by adjusting the drug dose. "
10/01/1997 - "Therapeutic effect of intrathecal ACNU (IT ACNU) against meningeal carcinomatosis model was evaluated in rats induced by intracisternal inoculation of Walker 256 carcinosarcoma cells. "
11/01/1988 - "Systemic and local toxicity was not observed in the rat given less than 1.5 mg/kg. Therapeutic effect of intrathecal ACNU against leptomeningeal tumors was evaluated in the rat with meningeal carcinomatosis induced by intracisternal inoculation of Walker 256 carcinosarcoma cells. "
11/01/1986 - "These changes were not observed in the animal given ACNU less than 1.5 mg/kg. Therapeutic effect of intrathecal ACNU against the leptomeningeal tumor was studied in rats with meningeal carcinomatosis which was induced by intracisternal inoculation of 1 X 10(4) cells of Walker 256 carcinosarcoma.
