familial Atrial myxoma

A hereditary cardiac myxoma that affects the left and right atria and PULMONARY VALVE. Affected individuals are also susceptible to BACTERIAL ENDOCARDITIS. Intracardiac myxoma is a component of the CARNEY COMPLEX (OMIM: 160980) and is associated with mutations in the PRKAR1A gene. OMIM: 255960
