absence of Vagina

Failure of the vagina to develop during pregnancy. It affects about 1 in 5,000 to 7,000 female infants and usually occurs in cases of Mullerian aplasia where the uterus, cervix, and kidney may be absent as well. Many affected individuals have other kidney abnormalities, and some have skeletal abnormalities.
