Eosinophilic pustular folliculitis

A rare eosinophilia of the skin characterized by the cyclic formation of small fluid-filled pustules at hair follicles . It is most common among adults age 20-40, and the infancy associated type occurs in infants age 5 to 10 months. Males are more often affected than females and the classic type occurs most often in individuals of Japanese decent. Immunocompromised individuals are also at greater risk.
