A new improved coil for tapered-tip catheter for arterial occlusion.

Abstract
The original coil emboli were designed for untapered-lip catheters. New coils have been designed for tapered-lip (1mm) catheters and have two helical diameters of 3 and 5 mm, respectively. The adaptation of the new coil to a tapered-tip catheter greatly simplifies its use in arterial occlusion.
