[Hormonally active (somatotropin) hypophyseal ganglioneuroma].

Abstract
An observation of hypophysis ganglioneuroma in a female patient with acromegaly is presented. Histochemical and electron microscopic examinations revealed among tumor elements cells with secretory granules similar with granules of somatotropic cells of the hypophysis. It is suggested that endocrine disorders in the patient are associated with somatotropic differentiation of some cells of ganglioneuroma.
