[Intracranial penetration of the mandibular condyle. Report on two cases (author's transl)].

Abstract
Two cases of intracranial penetration of the mandibular condyle are described, reports on similar cases in the published literature reviewed, and current therapeutic methods outlined. These penetrating injuries are often unrecognized during initial investigations, the patients presenting with temporomandibular ankylosis several months later.
