Effects of multiple treatments of isoxicam on organ weights and serum SGPT, AP, and BUN in adjuvant-induced polyarthritic rats.

Abstract	Isoxicam at 25 mg/kg/day x 28 days significantly inhibited the multiple alterations with the developing polyarthritis. In rats, this drug did not induce any changes in the relative liver weights or serum SGPT, AP, or BUN in polyarthritic rats. Isoxicam absorption was similar in normal and arthritic rats.
