[Biological activity of epidermal chalones in the presence of blood serum from patients with psoriasis].

Abstract
The serum of patients with progressive psoriasis lessens the inhibitory activity of epidermal chalones if it is added to the cultural medium before chalones. On the contrary, chalones inhibit DNA synthesis in epithelial cells if they are added to the cultural medium before psoriatic serum. The blood serum of patients with stationary and regressive psoriasis does not exert any effect on chalone activity.
