[Effect of anesthesia with ganglionic blockade on the blood circulation in patients undergoing surgery on the abdominal organs].

Abstract
Hemodynamics was studied in 837 patients operated on the organs of the abdominal cavity. The ganglionic blockade with pentamine was found to prevent unfavourable changes in the blood circulation of operated patients due to reduced pathological impulsation from the operation wound and mild response of the sympatho-adrenal system and adrenals to the emotional stress, operation trauma and anesthesia.
