[Further results of studies on metabolic disorders in a population of severely retarded children (2)].

Abstract
The purpose of this work was to analyse amino-acids in urine of mentally handicapped children and concentration of amino-acids in urine. Undesalted, night urine was investigated by two dimensional ascending chromatography method. Preliminary results show a great variety of composition from 6 to 23 amino-acids and pathological amino-acids excretion in 14% cases. Besides normal presented amino-acids in urine it was till now detected 3.5% cases of phenylketonuria, 1.5% cases of prolinuria and 24% cases of amino-butyric-acids excretion.
