[Evaluation of the efficacy of the dispensary treatment of patients with chronic esophageal diseases (based on the data from a 10-year dynamic observation)].

Abstract
The results of follow-up of 460 cases of different chronic esophageal pathologies within 10 years (1975-1984) were analysed. It was established that pathologic processes unceasingly progress to cancer development in cases untreated for subjective or objective reasons. Methyluracil and plantaglucide treatment proved effective.
