In vivo acquired daptomycin resistance during treatment of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus endocarditis.

Abstract	This clinical case reports the emergence of a daptomycin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus isolate during daptomycin treatment in a patient with right-sided infective endocarditis who had never been treated with vancomycin.
