[The mechanism of action on the secretory function of the stomach of peroral glutamate].

Abstract
The potentiating effect of oral glutaminic acid on the gastric secretion in the presence of pentagastrin was shown in the experiments on dogs with Heidenhain isolated stomach and gastric fistula according to Basov. This effect of sodium monoglutamate is realized by the humoral way with glutathione participation in the process.
