[Treatment of a partial avascular necrosis of a metacarpal head (Morbus Mauclaire Dieterich's Disease) utilizing the ostechondral autograft transfer system (OATS) technique].

Abstract

The OATS (osteochondral autograft transfer system) is a standardized technique for the treatment of aseptic osteonecrosis of the knee and ankle. We show the first use and successful course of the OAT System for the treatment of a partial aseptic necrosis of a metacarpal head.
