[The determination of coproporphyrin III in the ostia of the sebaceous glands by contact biomicroscopy].

Abstract

The authors have developed a method for coproporphyrin III measurements in nasal sebaceous gland orifices by contact biomicroscopy. Increased levels of coproporphyrin III were detected with this method in patients with lupus erythematosus, photodermatitis, acne vulgaris.
