Abstract | OBJECTIVES: RESULTS: CONCLUSION: Cervical cord compression due to spinal stenosis may lead to long intramedullary fusiform T2 hyperintensity on MRI, mimicking inflammatory myelopathy, but the diagnoses can be accurately distinguished by a combination of clinical and radiologic characteristics.
