Abstract | BACKGROUND & AIMS: Lymphocytic enterocolitis is a malabsorptive syndrome characterized by severe small-bowel villous abnormality and crypt hyperplasia and dense infiltrate of lymphocytes throughout the gastrointestinal tract. METHODS: RESULTS: Both patients had clinical improvement in diarrheal symptoms and intestinal histologic abnormalities. CONCLUSIONS:
