Abstract
In this article, you'll learn about eight new drugs, including: doripenem, an antibiotic for complicated intra-abdominal and urinary tract infections. Maraviroc, a new antiretroviral agent to treat HIV infection. Ixabepilone, a new drug for refractory metastatic breast cancer. Unless otherwise specified, the information in the following summaries applies to adults, not children.
