[The functional status of the thyroid in patients with psychoneurological consequences of acute poisoning with high-toxic organic phosphorus compounds].

Abstract
The paper presents the data of a clinical study of the functional status of the thyroid in patients who experienced acute sarin and soman intoxication that was a cause of various psychoneurological disorders. The reduced blood level of thyroid hormones in the examinees and the absence of its normalization suggest severe thyroid dysfunction, which allows necessary therapeutic measures to be warranted.
