Dopaminergic resistant prolactinomas in the peripubertal population.

AbstractWe report two children with macroadenomas and hyperprolactinemia resistant to medical therapy using dopamine agonists, who experienced secondary pituitary dysfunction. Both required surgical debulking, and one has received growth hormone treatment with no increase in tumor size.
