[A double-blind study on the effect of dexetimide in the control of neuroleptic-induced extrapyramidal side-effects].

Abstract
A double-blind study was carried out on the therapeutic effects of dexetimide and artane in the control of neuroleptic-induced extrapyramidal side-effects in 261 cases of schizophrenia. The authors found that therapeutic effects of two drugs for the control of extrapyramidal signs were equal. Dexetimidal had the advantages of less side-effects, less dosage and long-action.
