Abstract | INTRODUCTION: EXEGESIS: We report an atypical case of late onset Becker's muscular dystrophy diagnosed at the age of 57. The patient suffered from mild skeletal muscle involvement revealed by the use of statins and fibrates, associated with severe dilating cardiomyopathy. The DNA analysis showed a deletion of the exons 11-13 in the Xp21 gene. CONCLUSION:
