[Clinicofunctional assessment of treatment results in patients with unilateral laryngeal paresis by the method of multiparameter acoustic analysis of the voice].

Abstract
Acoustic characteristics of the voice were compared in 10 women with unilateral paresis of the laryngeal nerve before and after treatment. Twenty healthy women served control. A special computer program calculated the following parameters: fundamental frequency, sound pressure level, jitter, shimmer, long-term average spectrum, signal to noise ratio. It was shown that improvement of vocal cords contact after phonopedy was associated with improvement of all acoustic voice parameters. Thus, acoustic voice analysis is a good method of voice assessment before and after the treatment. This method is applicable in research and clinical practice.
