[The trend of the vitamin D analog development in renal failure].

Abstract
For the treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism (2HPT) in patients with chronic renal failure, medicines of vitamin D derivatives such as 22-oxacalcitriol, calcitriol injection, falecalcitriol, paricalcitol and doxercalciferol were introduced into the sites of dialysis. It is thus considered that new development of activated vitamin D therapy towards 2HPT has started.
