[Levobunolol HCl--a beta-blocker produced by the firm Allergan].

Abstract	Vistagan is a new beta-blocker produced by Allergan that is used for treatment of glaucoma. The results of a clinical trial with 18 patients with open-angle glaucoma, previously treated with Timoptol, are presented. Vistagan was as effective as Timoptol in reducing the intraocular pressure and was better tolerated by patients.
