[Severe form of congenital adrenal hyperplasia caused by 11-beta-hydroxylase deficiency in a 3-year old boy].

Abstract
The paper presents a hitherto not described progression of somatic and sexual development in a 3-year old boy with fully symptomatic severe classic form of congenital adrenal hyperplasia resulting from 11-beta-hydroxylase. The authors stress factors resulting in a delayed diagnosis and in consequence in irreversible somatic development disturbances that may be life-threatening in the course of adrenal or hypertensive crisis.
