[Hemodynamics and cell membrane effects of angiotensin II receptor antagonists in treatment of hypertension].

Abstract
Strain on calcium-dependent mechanisms in essential hypertension (EH) is in activation of the calcium pump, structural-and-functional changes in Ca2+ ATPase and activation of proteinase C. In EH patients presenting with a high sensitivity to angiotensin II, there comes to be frequently seen an insufficient effectiveness of antagonists of receptors to angiotensin II.
