How to utilize compression after sclerotherapy.

AbstractBACKGROUND:
Although much has been published on the effects of compression on the venous system in patients with venous ulcers, relatively few studies address compression following sclerotherapy of telangiectatic webs associated with reticular veins.
OBJECTIVE:
To describe my method for using compression after sclerotherapy treatment of varicose and telangiectatic leg veins.
METHODS:
Review of my techniques and the rational for compression.
CONCLUSION:
I believe that compression after sclerotherapy is beneficial.
