[Changes in blood serum liquid crystal structure under experimental silicosis].

Abstract
To study changes in liquid crystal structure of blood serum, the authors used intratracheal model of experimental silicosis in rats exposed to DQ12 quartz dust. Early stages of disease demonstrated changes in blood serum structurization, seen in polarized light. Morphology of those changes could serve as a characteristic of silicotic process intensity.
