| Abstract | We report the occurrence of a tic in a boy with Down's syndrome. The movement disorder was induced by carbamazepine (CBZ) and resolved completely after discontinuation of CBZ. The development of tics seems to be a rare, idiosyncratic side effect of CBZ in children. |
