Abstract | OBJECTIVE: STUDY DESIGN: RESULTS: CONCLUSION: Hypoestrogenism results in the development of fewer peritoneal adhesions postoperatively. Our findings also indicated that other mechanisms, in addition to those inducing hypoestrogenism, are at work in the adhesion-preventing effects of GnRHa therapy.
