01/01/1996 - "The radical neck dissection on the tumor side, as well as on the opposite side helped to achieve the most better treatment results than after resection of the lymph nodous suprahyioidei only. "
06/01/1984 - "These tumors are most effectively treated with en bloc primary excision and regional node dissection, which includes superficial parotidectomy with or without neck dissection. "
08/01/1992 - "The findings suggest that response of neck nodes should be assessed independently of primary tumor response in trials of organ preservation strategies using induction chemotherapy, and that failure to achieve a clinical complete response in the neck warrants planned early salvage neck dissection in order to achieve improved overall survival."
03/01/2009 - "The survival (overall, disease-specific and neck disease-free) and the site of neck recurrence of the patients with N0 supraglottic cancer were not significantly different between patients in the neck dissection treatment group and those of the rest of the therapeutic strategies examined (neck radiotherapy, combined therapy and 'wait and see' policy). "
04/01/2001 - "(The latter may reflect bias associated with positive surgical margins or premorbid conditions.) In the secondary analysis, age, tumor size, and positive lymph node status were associated with significantly worse disease-specific survival, whereas surgical excision plus neck dissection was associated with improved survival.
