Galectin 4 (LGALS4)

A galectin found in the small and large intestine and the stomach. It occurs as a homodimer with two 36-kDa subunits and is localized to sites of cell adhesion where it may play role in assembly of ADHERENS JUNCTIONS.
Also Known As:
LGALS4; Galectin-4; Lactose-Binding Lectin, L-36; Lactose-Binding Protein, L-36; Lectin, Galactoside-Binding, Soluble, 4 Protein; L-36 Lactose-Binding Lectin; L-36 Lactose-Binding Protein; Lactose Binding Lectin, L 36; Lactose Binding Protein, L 36; Lectin, L-36 Lactose-Binding
