ADP-ribosyl Cyclase

A membrane-bound or cytosolic enzyme that catalyzes the synthesis of CYCLIC ADP-RIBOSE (cADPR) from nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD). This enzyme generally catalyzes the hydrolysis of cADPR to ADP-RIBOSE, as well, and sometimes the synthesis of cyclic ADP-ribose 2' phosphate (2'-P-cADPR) from NADP.
Also Known As:
2'-P-ADPR Cyclase; 2'-Phospho-adenosine Diphosphate Ribose Cyclase; ADPR Cyclase; Adenosine Diphosphate Ribose Cyclase; Cyclic ADP-ribose Hydrolase; cADPR Hydrolase; 2' P ADPR Cyclase; 2' Phospho adenosine Diphosphate Ribose Cyclase; ADP ribosyl Cyclase; ADP-ribose Hydrolase, Cyclic; Cyclase, 2'-P-ADPR; Cyclase, ADP Ribose; Cyclase, ADP-ribosyl; Cyclase, ADPR; Cyclic ADP ribose Hydrolase; Hydrolase, Cyclic ADP-ribose; Hydrolase, cADPR; Ribose Cyclase, ADP; ADP Ribose Cyclase
